Tucked away in the peaceful Glen Tanar pine forest, the sparkling trout loch offers a unique fly-fishing experience in the wilderness, with the trees and heathery hills as your beautiful backdrop.
Fly fishing surrounded by nature (from boats only) is available daily, Monday to Sunday, between March 24th and October 31st, inclusive.
There are two sessions daily, between 9am and 3pm, and 3pm and 9pm.
During March & October, there is only one session per day, between 9am and 5pm.
There are two boats available per session, each with space for two adult/child rods.
On-site rod and tackle hire is available and can be added to your booking on the system below.
It includes: A 7ft trout rod, reel and line | Stillwater Hegar 5.5 scissors | 7.5ft 8lb trout leader and tippet | A selection of mixed trout flies and lures.
