Our cottages date back to Victorian times, and have been tastefully restored and furnished to create a luxurious home-from-home that is perfect for a relaxing holiday.
Each cottage has its own unique character, and several of them are listed buildings. Our cottages are warm, inviting and authentic. They are decorated with paintings by local artists, and handmade curtains and cushions in carefully selected fabrics, which reflect the natural features of the Glen outside.
From your luxury cottage in Glen Tanar, take your time exploring all that the area has to offer. Or simply enjoy doing nothing in this beautiful corner of Royal Deeside. Why not go horse riding through the estate for an afternoon? Our cottage guests receive a special rate at Glen Tanar Equestrian Centre. Whatever your plans, you’ll feel the stresses and strains of the everyday drift away during a stay in Glen Tanar.

We offer long and short breaks (minimum stay 3 nights) on most of our cottages, including our newest property the Tower O'Ess. Short breaks in East Millfield are for a minimum of 4 nights.
