The new 2025 series of Love Is Blind UK is now live — and viewers might spot a few familiar places woven into the show. Earlier this year, Glen Tanar welcomed the production team as they filmed key moments for the latest series.
For several days, the estate became part of the programme’s visual storytelling. The production team were drawn to the character of Glen Tanar — the stillness of the pine forests, the sweeping Highland views and the sense of escape around the Water of Tanar. Our landscapes became a natural backdrop for quieter conversations and reflective scenes.

The groomsmen pacing around the Trout Loch, sharing nerves and excitement before the ceremony.
Meetings in the Ballroom, where final words, last thoughts and big emotions unfolded ahead of the vows.

Seeing our corner of Aberdeenshire captured on screen has been a real highlight for the team. Familiar places — the riverside, the lochside, the Ballroom — take on a different quality when seen through the lens of a film crew. It was a pleasure to work with the production team, who brought a creative eye and a genuine appreciation for the estate and the wider area.
Now that the series has aired, it’s been exciting to watch Glen Tanar and Coo Cathedral step into the spotlight and play their part in moments viewers across the country are talking about. If you’re visiting us soon, you may even recognise a few locations along the way.
