Temporary Caretaker – Glen Tanar Estate

Looking for a temporary, flexible part-time role in a beautiful rural setting? Glen Tanar Estate is seeking a reliable, practical and self-motivated Caretaker to help maintain and prepare our seven self-catering holiday cottages to the highest standard.
This hands-on role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety, and can work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare cottages between guest stays
Strip beds and organise laundry for cleaning contractors
Replenish welcome packs, guest essentials and consumables
Carry out routine health and safety checks
Deep clean areas as required
Remove marks and stains where required
Monitor linen stock levels and liaise with external cleaning contractors
Put bins out in line with collection schedules
Report maintenance issues and undertake minor repairs
Keep cottages and surrounding outdoor areas tidy and presentable
About You:
You'll be reliable, proactive, and well organised, with excellent attention to detail. You're comfortable working independently, practical, and able to solve problems efficiently. Experience in housekeeping, property care, hospitality or a similar role is preferred.
