Learn to Fish Sessions

2018 available dates:

• Saturday 7th July

Spend a day on the River with Craig and learn the basics of salmon fishing. Aimed at beginners our Learn to Fish Sessions include equipment and a delicious lunch will also be provided in the fishing hut. As a memento of your day you will also get some flies tied by Craig to start off your collection.

Price: £160 person (lunch and equipment included) 

Spring Fishing Courses

Do you want to further develop your skills as a salmon fisher and learn more about early season tactics and tackle? Then this course is for you! Ghillie Craig McDonald will guide you through the techniques used for early season fishing and provide expert casting tuition.

• Spring fishing tactics and equipment
• Casting demonstrations and tuition
• Lunch
• Fishing the beat and further casting tuition

As part of your day a delicious lunch will be provided in the fishing hut and you will also receive some classic spring flies tied by Craig to help you catch that springer. Ross MacDonald, Fisheries Development Officer for the River Dee, an expert fisher and fly tyer, will be on hand to lend his expertise.
