Gliding in Deeside

The Deeside Gliding Club airstrip at Dinnet is only a few minutes drive away.

The club offers trial lessons in a dual control glider so you can experience the thrill of gliding and have a birds-eye view of the beautiful countryside.

Soaring conditions at Dinnet are renowned and the British altitude record for a two-seater glider was set here in 1995 at 37,730 feet. That's above the cruising height for jet airliners!
