As like most of the country just now, we here at Glen Tanar are under several feet of snow. It does make life a wee bit more challenging and slower for moving around doing things but we are managing and getting on with life as best we can.
The roads are currently being ploughed at least a couple of times a day and having rock salt thrown down to allow us to get into work in the mornings and leave at the end of the day.
Currently the temperature outside is sitting at -8 celcius and this is due to drop down to minus 20 odd at the weekend!
The Gamekeepers are out daily checking on the Wildlife to ensure no animals are getting stuck and exhausted in the deep snow.
The Trout Loch is frozen solid and covered in deep snow too so no fishing will be available for the foreseeable future.
