Glen Tanar Estate

Situated in a beautiful glen at the heart of Royal Deeside and within the spectacular Cairngorms National Park, Glen Tanar Estate offers some of Scotland's most stunning scenery.

Experience True Scottish Hospitality

We aim to make you feel at home, whether you stay in one of our luxury self-catering holiday cottages, enjoy one of the many outdoor activities on the estate, use us as a base to explore Aberdeenshire or have chosen our ballroom as the venue for your wedding or event. We'll do our best to make your visit unforgettable.

We are delighted that one of our ghillies, Craig McDonald (above), has been nominated as a top young tourism ambassador at the 2015 Aberdeen City and Shire Tourism Awards. Craig combines the knowledge of an expert fisherman with a love of the outdoors and a degree in Ecology and enjoys sharing his understanding of the river with guests.

Book our holiday cottages directly from us, online or by phone - no agents so the price here is the very best you can get.
